Going Online? Wash Your Hands!

I had to chuckle when I spotted this "Restrooms & Data Ports" sign at the Mohegan Sun casino last week. Makes me wonder what indeed is being pumped across the Internet.

Unlike most casino properties in Las Vegas, the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, provides free wired Internet access in its guest rooms and free Wi-Fi in its convention center and other public areas. The doorway leads to a set of laptop desks with working Ethernet jacks and chairs--and then to the bathrooms. I was there to cover the North American Poker Tour sponsored by PokerStars.net.
